Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between coaching and counseling? There are many similarities to counseling and coaching, but the main difference is where to put the focus. Counseling focuses on a person's past to discover how the past might be impacting his/her life. Counseling practitioners work to heal the parts of one's past that might be negatively impacting his/her present life.  Coaching, on the other hand, is much more future focused. A coach's primary goal is to help a person become self aware of what is important in his/her life, envision what is possible, and then help remove the obstacles that are keeping him/her from moving forward into that future.

What are your rates? I have different programs, depending on the person's needs, ranging from $550-$5700. I do offer payment plans for those that would rather pay in monthly installments.

What result can I expect? Ultimately, your results depend on the work you put in, but if you are fully committed to yourself and are willing to put into practice the techniques I teach, then you can be sure that you will begin to see the change you desire within 90 days. Re-wiring the brain is not a long, hard process. It simply requires consistent practice of small, easy adjustments in your life.

If I decide coaching is not for me, do you have refund policy? Yes. If you are putting in to practice the tools that I teach and do not see results, I guarantee your money back, no questions asked. That is how sure I am that anyone can do this and have the results they desire! Sign up for a free discovery session. This will give us a chance to get to know each other and for me to understand what it is that you want that is different than your current experience. From this conversation, I will create a personalized program that will meet your unique need. Also, you may ask any questions you have about me or the coaching process.

How often do we meet for a coaching session? I will meet with you once a week, unless otherwise discussed. When reprogramming the brain, it is important to have consistent, frequent sessions to create the new neurological pathways that will be the catalyst for change.

What all is included in the program? Weekly one-to-one coaching Session Summaries sent by email Daily thought practices Optional 5-10 minute exercises to catapult your progress between sessions

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session? I get it. Life happens. So if you need to cancel or reschedule a session, you may do so up to 24 hours in advance. I will do my best to find a time that works best for your schedule.

Do you coach teens? I coach anyone from the ages 16+. The only requirement is the person must want to be coached. If a person is forced into coaching, they will most likely not put in the work it will require to change their current thought processes.

Do you coach people who are neurodivergent? The short answer, yes. Every brain is unique, which means the tools I teach are not a one-size-fits-all. Each person will be given the opportunity to try the techniques and make adjustments where needed. This process is not about doing a magic trick and voila! This is about discovering the way your brain naturally works, leveraging the strengths, and lovingly re-wiring the processes that are holding you back. But don't worry. I am with you every step of the way. You will not be doing this alone.

Do you help people who are clinically depressed or suffer from anxiety? Do you help people with truama or PTSD? I am not clinically trained to treat anyone with depression or anxiety, nor do I try and treat any types of trauma. If you are suffering from depression or anxiety, I highly recommend you seek out professional help. However, it is possible that I can provide additional tools to help you learn how to better support yourself in your day-to-day experience. I do not advise coaching as therapy for people suffering from trauma. Trauma affects parts of the brain that require certain types of therapy. However, just because you have experienced trauma in your life, it does not mean that coaching is not an effective process for you. You are not your brain. And there are many parts of your brain that require your attention. It is important to learn how to use all parts of your brain to support you through trauma and live a happy, healthy life.
