How to be a Thought Leader
Every morning, when my daughter walks out the door on her way to school, we she leaves with a loud, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” I always smile and say, “Ok! Byyyeee!” I am not sure where she picked that up as her daily mantra (probably on a poster in a classroom), but it has got me thinking.
We all have a hope and a desire that our world can evolve into something better and that we have the power to be a little part of that change. And that is what I’d like to focus on this month. I like to call that act of “being the change I want to see” as being a thought leader. I strongly believe that everything we do or do not can find its origin in a thought. Whether conscious or not, there is a sentence behind every decision you make in your life- good or bad. Becoming aware of those sentences that drive all your life, and then making a conscious effort to change that is the only way to become the change you want to see in the world. It begins with YOU!
So that is what we are going to be doing this month. Changing the world around us by changing our thoughts! This is what it means to be a thought leader. Who’s in?
