What do you need?

For many of us, we get stuck in our own routines and schedules without ever questioning if this is what we actually want or even need at that moment. Our list of to-do’s determines where we put our time and energy, which in truth, are largely made up of all the needs and expectations of others.

But what about you? What do you need?


Your body is full of wisdom for what is the most nourishing and helpful thing for you at any given moment. Using your own inner wisdom, communicated through the sensations in your body, will help you not only connect with yourself in a deep and loving way but will also help you to thrive in a way that may seem unfathomable now. Are you willing to trust you as a body, even if just for today?


For today:

1) When you begin to feel stressed or overwhelmed, put your hand on your heart and ask yourself, “What do I need right now?” Do that.


Going Deeper:

2) When you are stopping to eat, ask yourself, “What sounds nourishing?”


Eat that. 3) When you feel afraid, ask yourself, “What would love to do?” Try that.


4) When you feel exhausted but still have so many things to do, ask yourself, “What do I need to do right now that will give me the energy to continue on?” Do that.
